Other Pokémon games
Fennekin in tandem with Emolga can be used as an assist in Pokkén Tournament. It uses Ember to stun foes in a dome of fire.
Super Smash Bros. series
Fennekin is a Poké Ball Pokémon in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. When summoned, it will shoot a fireball a distance away with Incinerate. When a fighter touches the fire, they get stunned and take continuous fire damage until the fire fades like PK Fire. It usually shoots a couple before going away.
Trophy descriptions
This Fire-type Pokémon is one of the first partners in Pokémon X and Y. It enjoys eating twigs, emitting hot air from its ears as it munches. Its Incinerate attack may look like small embers when it starts, but when it hits another fighter, the embers burst into a devastating pillar of flame!
In the anime
Serena's Fennekin
Serena obtained one at the beginning of her journey and it becomes her main Pokémon. It eventually evolves into a Braixen. It would later evolve into Delphox between XY and Journeys.
Origin and inspiration
Fennekin is based on a fox, most likely a fennec fox. Its name is likely a combination of fennec and kindle.
