Super Smash Bros. series

Both forms of Vulpix appeared in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as Pokémon summoned from the Poké Ball. They attack using Ember and Frost Breath, respectively, with the former move burning opposing fighters with pillars of fire, and the latter move freezing them.

In the anime

Brock was given a Vulpix in the episode Pokémon Fashion Flash by the character of the day, Suzie. In Beauty and the Breeder, he returned it to her.

At the end of episode 13 of Pokémon the Series: Sun and Moon, an Alolan Vulpix hatched from an Egg that Lillie took care of. She had named the egg Snowy, and kept that name after it hatched. In the following episode, a regular one hatched for Samson Oak. Lillie overcame her fear of Pokémon and caught Snowy.
