2017 was a big year for Nintendo, with the Nintendo Switch and New Nintendo 2DS XL (a revision of the 3DS without the 3D as well as the sixth and last model in the family), releasing as well as Nintendo delving further into mobile games. Some Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games were also made. The Wii U was discontinued the same year.
